I am writing as a deeply concerned constituent to demand immediate action to stop the reckless and escalating tactics being used in immigration enforcement that are putting innocent people at risk and costing lives.
What we are seeing across the country is not law enforcement … it is intimidation. Armed operations, aggressive apprehensions, and fear-based tactics are being deployed with little transparency, and no accountability, and devastating consequences. Peaceful protesters and bystanders are being treated as threats, and innocent people are being harmed or killed as a result of chaos that did not need to exist.
This approach undermines public safety, erodes trust in government, and violates the most basic principles of due process and civil rights. No policy goal justifies terrorizing communities, escalating confrontations, or placing citizens and lawful residents in danger.
As my elected representative, I expect you to:
• Publicly oppose these dangerous enforcement tactics
• Demand oversight, transparency, and accountability from federal agencies and independent investigations of the needless murders
• Support policies that uphold the rule of law without endangering lives
Silence or inaction makes you complicit. South Carolinians expect leadership grounded in responsibility, restraint, and respect for human life.
Your constituents want you to act now!
