I phoned your office today to ask if you had attended the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees meeting today. Your staffer said you are not a member of the Board. This is incorrect, and I told him so. Then he said, well, he is an ex officio member so he isn't entitled to vote. This is incorrect, and I told him so. Please apologize to the staff member for me, because I yelled at him, which was impolite. However, I do not rescind what I said, just my tone of voice: You, Senator Warner, are a jerk for not attending that meeting. I am NOT going to vote for you ever again, and I AM going to badmouth you on every possible occasion, and don't tell your staff lies about the status of voting rights for ex officio members of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees. I am most seriously displeased.
