These burdensome restrictions undermine free and fair elections vital to democracy by creating unnecessary voting barriers, particularly for women of color. I urge rejecting this legislation which erects hurdles hindering the fundamental right to vote for specific populations rather than expanding access to the ballot for all eligible citizens.
