Support H.R. 3565 — Block the Bombs Act
To: Rep. Bentz
From: A verified voter in Myrtle Creek, OR
August 15
If you claim to be a person of faith, then explain how you can justify sending U.S. weapons to slaughter children in Gaza. No faith supports mass killing.
Israel’s assault is not “self-defense.” It is genocide and ethnic cleansing—recognized as such under international law. For 77 years Israel has used the excuse of “self-defense” while bombing, occupying, and dispossessing its neighbors. Israel exists, we all know that. What it does is not defense—it is rape, pillage, and land theft. The only people still repeating the “right to defend itself” line are the ones taking AIPAC money.
Tens of thousands of civilians—mostly women and children—are already dead. Entire neighborhoods flattened. Every bomb that kills them is stamped “Made in the USA.” Our tax dollars are paying for genocide, and every time we supply the weapons, we are also planting the seeds of future terrorism that will one day come back to strike Americans.
The Block the Bombs Act (H.R. 3565) is your chance to prove Congress still has a conscience. This bill halts the transfer of the most destructive offensive weapons unless Israel provides binding assurances they will not be used to commit war crimes.
I demand you:
• Cosponsor and support H.R. 3565 now.
• Publicly condemn U.S. complicity in genocide.
History will remember if you stood with humanity—or with mass death.
