You are elected to carry out the will of the people, not to shield executive officials from accountability when they abuse power or endanger the public.
I am writing to demand the immediate impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Her leadership has overseen and enabled immigration enforcement actions that have resulted in the deaths of U.S. citizens, credible allegations of excessive force, warrantless operations, and a disturbing disregard for civil liberties and constitutional protections. These are not isolated incidents or minor policy disagreements. They represent a pattern of dangerous conduct and failed oversight that places lives at risk and undermines the rule of law.
Secretary Noem’s continued control over the Department of Homeland Security and ICE presents a clear and ongoing danger. Announcements of limited corrective measures after public outrage do not erase the harm already done, nor do they address the systemic abuses that have occurred under her authority. When federal power is exercised without adequate restraint, transparency, or accountability, Congress has a constitutional obligation to intervene.
Impeachment exists precisely for moments like this. It is the lawful mechanism to investigate misconduct, halt further harm, and restore public trust. Allowing Secretary Noem to remain in office signals that deadly failures, civil rights violations, and contempt for oversight will be tolerated so long as they are politically inconvenient to address.
The American people are watching. Continued inaction communicates complicity. I urge you to act immediately and decisively by initiating impeachment proceedings against Kristi Noem before further harm occurs.
