I am writing to ask that you vote to discontinue funding for ICE until officers are better trained to handle the stress of the position they are in. Killing anyone over the capture and interrogation of potential violent immigrants is an abhorrent practice. That two American citizens have died in Minneapolis is unconscionable. Individuals living in a free society are not killed by their government for engaging in public protest, acting as archives, or coming home from dropping their son at school. The only way to stop this is to defund it. Not stopping this in Minneapolis means the next stop could be Charlotte or Raleigh.
