What have you done to make sure data centers pay for their own electricity and electric infrastructure, water and cooling systems and protect residents from noise issues? We need a moratorium until these issues are settled. The state House has voted on a somewhat flawed bill, but I cannot find thst the state senate has done anything to protect residential customers from having to pay Duke’s costs or counties’ costs in preparing to serve these electricity and water hogs or to protect communities from the incessant noise. Will you actually respond?
