I am writing first to thank you for all you do defending your constituents and our Constitution. Secondly, I am writing in regards to the upcoming budget negotiations. In any budget negotiations, Democrats must hold firm to demand that subsidies for the Affordable Care Act must continue, not for the short term, but for good. Democrats must play hardball this time, not cave as the Senate did for the CR. Democrats should not sign on to any budget with the GOP unless these demands are met: banning/reversing rescissions; restoring Medicaid; curtailing DHS overreach and illegality; stopping and reversing unconstitutional Executive branch actions; implementing Russia sanctions and sending timely, unrestricted military aid to Ukraine; and setting up basic ethics requirements for all three branches.
