Hello Maxwell. Please do all you can to save the Dept of Education! H.R. 899 was just introduced to terminate the Department of Education. The main reason for the creation of the Department of Education was the fact that individual states across the country were violating students’ rights to equal access to education. The Department of Education helps protect the rights of students with disabilities, both learning and/or physical, as well as ensure funding for low-income communities both rural & urban. I am not willing to sacrifice the protection of our children’s rights to an education. Please vote “No” on H.R. 899 The time to act is NOW.
