If Trump uses OUR money for his ballroom for protection then let's discuss the protection that is needed for every single school child who is at risk of being shot while at school, and every person who attends a church or a synagogue or a mall or arena and is at risk of being part of a mass shooting. Our taxpayer money must go to protect every person living in our country. IT'S THE GUNS. It's lack of proper screening before one obtains a gun. It's a lack of mental health priorities. The White House doesn't need a ballroom. The ballroom isn't an appropriate alternative to gun violence. I know the Republicans don't care what the American people want. The majority of Americans are against an unnecessary ballroom when we are involved in an illegal, expensive war and when we are seeing continued rising prices and losing our healthcare and mass shootings are happening every single week. Trump wants the ballroom because Trump is Trump. I know my Senators won't listen to me. I know Rep Ross is doing everything she can to make our country better FOR ALL OF US. But I won't stop contacting my Senators. My voice will be heard and on record as having done what I can to stop the reckless spending of Trump and the Republicans who are putting loyalty to the president instead of to Constitution and to protecting the American people.
