I’m writing as a former elected official and an attorney for 50 years in Iowa, including working in the county attorney's Iowa. I am in strong opposition to the nomination of Emil Bove to be a federal appeals judge. Bove targeted FBI agents and career DOJ prosecutors for holding January 6th rioters - who beat cops - accountable. For that reason alone, I expect you to oppose his confirmation.
