The right to safe and legal abortion is a fundamental aspect of reproductive healthcare and bodily autonomy for women. Denying this right undermines gender equality and puts women's lives at risk. We should trust women to make deeply personal decisions about their own bodies in consultation with medical professionals, free from government interference. Abortion is healthcare. Imagine your wife, daughter, or sister in the position where she must make a difficult decision to protect her own life or prevent suffering to her fetus. Or, where she needs a routine D&C after a miscarriage. Could you deny her the care she needs? Do the right thing. Oppose H.R. 722
