Our country was founded based on the concept of the rule of law and a balance of power. No one was above it. The point of the founding fathers was specifically to NOT have one part of the government making decisions by fiat with no checks on their power. Your job as part of the legislative branch is to provide one of those checks on executive power. You need to do your job.
Donald Trump is not above the law. You, as a part of the legislative branch, need to uphold the law and ensure that it is being applied to all, including the president.
Stop the abuses of executive power the current administration is enacting—uphold the rights of all Americans and residents in the United States. Make President Trump and his administration follow the law, instead of ignoring it.
