Your proposed law to end dual citizenship is in extremely poor taste. At a time when we need unity more than ever, this further divides us as a nation. We need to ensure the path to becoming a citizen of our country is followed, not punish those who have followed that path. A person having dual citizenship does not make them any less of an American. There are many reasons someone may hold dual citizenship, and demonizing them for any reason is akin to someone demonizing you for being a Columbian immigrant. Please withdraw this proposed law. As your constituent, I wholeheartedly believe this does not, in any way, represent the country I know and love.
