I am writing to express my strong support for Senator Hawley's Honest Act, to ban stock trading by the highest elected officials in America. It is critical that Congress is held to a high standard of behavior to ensure fairness and honesty in our politics. When elected officials are allowed to trade on inside information, it hurts all Americans to make a few more wealthy. Please support the Honest Act and any other measures that ensure fairness and unbiased policy-making among Congress and the Executive Office.
