There are 3 ICE-related bills that you will be voting on soon, and I am writing to let you know how important it is to all of us in Washington state that you vote to pass them. SB 5906 would protect sensitive locations, such as schools, hospitals, and day cares from ICE. SB 6286 would fine detention facilities that deny health inspections. And SB 5855 would make it illegal for ICE officers to wear masks, and allow citizens arrested by one wearing a mask to sue them. These bills will prevent situations that are hazardous to our safety and freedom as citizens of this state, and of this country. Please vote for these measures, and do what you can to help them pass.
