Bring the Hegseth impeachment articles to the floor for a recorded vote. Rep. Thomas Massie introduced eight articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on September 15, 2026, and the House ran out the clock instead of voting. He has pledged to reintroduce them when Congress returns the week of November 9. That vote must happen.
The charges are serious: waging war against Iran without congressional authorization and past every War Powers deadline, lethal strikes on boats in the Caribbean, unauthorized operations in Venezuela and Yemen, gutted civilian protections, and Pentagon retaliation against a sitting U.S. senator. These are not procedural complaints. They are constitutional violations that go to the core of who controls the decision to go to war.
The midterms are over. There is no more clock to run out. A motion to table these articles would be a vote to let all of it go unanswered. Every member needs to go on record.
