Fix the Debt You Created — Fund Services, Not Billionaires

You have always claimed to be a fiscal conservative, yet you have voted consistently for every tax break for corporations and the ultra-wealthy, driving the national debt up dramatically since 2017. The CBO says Trump's "big, beautiful bill" — which you supported — adds $3.4 trillion to the debt over the next decade, while nearly half of its $4.4 trillion in tax cuts flow to the richest 5% of Americans. Bond rates are rising, loans are unaffordable, and ordinary families are paying the price. So what exactly are you going to do to fix this mess?
Stop cutting the federal workforce. Funding and hiring should be increased, not gutted. Americans depend on NOAA for weather warnings, USGS for disaster monitoring, the Forest Service and Park Service to protect public lands, the FDA to keep our food safe, and federal researchers working on medical cures and basic science. These are the services that hold this country together. Slashing them while handing billionaires another tax windfall is not fiscal conservatism — it's a transfer of wealth from working people to those who need it least. Reverse course.
