Support the Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act Now

To: Sen. Capito, Rep. Miller, Sen. Manchin

From: A constituent in Princeton, WV

April 10

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a lifeline for over 23 million Americans, including 10.6 million seniors aged 50 and above. The proposed bipartisan Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act, which seeks to allocate $7 billion to the ACP, is crucial to prevent a disruption of service for 77% of households currently benefiting from the program. Without this funding, these households may be forced to change plans or lose internet service entirely. The Act has already received backing from organizations such as AARP, AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon. It is essential to support this Act to ensure continued access to affordable high-speed internet for qualifying households, particularly our senior population.
