Congress wasn’t meant to serve any president or party—it was created to write laws, fund government, and keep power in check. You hold the power of the purse, the authority to investigate, to confirm or reject appointments, and when needed, to impeach. Too often, Congress yields to the executive branch instead of defending the Constitution. No one—not even a president—is above the law. Please uphold your oath, protect the separation of powers, and use every tool available to defend our democracy. History will remember those who acted with integrity—and those who did not.
