Can Washington State please secede? The US is “too big to fail,” but it’s clear that it’s failing anyway. There is no bailing us out of this and I think it’s time for us to strike out on our own. I would happily pay a state income tax in lieu of a federal income tax, especially given that all the social services I utilize are provided at the state level because of the federal government’s incompetence. I’ve written in about this several times but I’m asking again for you to give it serious consideration. The federal government has declared war on its own constituents. It’s up to the states to protect our own. Please protect us by separating us from this abusive union.
