This week, Republicans released the initial text of their reconciliation funding bill. In addition to the $70 billion they want to shovel into the regime’s mass deportation machine, they also snuck in $1 billion for Trump’s White House ballroom.
What’s not in the bill? Anything that would address the cost of living crisis that’s crushing millions of American families.
At a time when so many Americans are struggling to get by, Republicans want us to believe there’s no money for healthcare, housing, or food assistance. But they’re prepared to spend billions of dollars on concentration camps, bonuses for Border Patrol and ICE thugs, and a golden ballroom where Trump can host his billionaire friends.
Republicans know their agenda is massively unpopular, but they’re hoping they can pass this bill quickly before the public even hears about it. So, we need to move faster, be louder, and build a backlash big enough to stop this bill in its tracks. But to do it, we need your help. Get loud! Invest in some PR to warn your constituents about what is happening and what is coming down the metaphorical chute. We elected you to represent us. Barring your obvious inability to do so, WE THE PEOPLE are begging you to at least back us up!
