The FCC dropping the gigabit standard is a disgrace. Brendan Carr is clearly a political operative and a lobbyist, and needs to be investigated. Additionally, Congress needs to enshrine the Gigabit standard into law. How ridiculous that this country wants to extract wealth from its poorest citizens to construct AI Data Centers based on a false understanding of what AI actually is, and then deprive the same people the right to access that same technology via the internet. Absurd. Ridiculous. Scam Country, Scam Economy. This is Republican Governance at Work
