I am writing as your constituent to echo the letter drafted by the National Immigration Law Center. I urge you to demand an immediate halt to ALL funding for ICE and CBP’s deadly operations until the violence, abuses, and deaths in American communities and immigration detention centers stop. I urge you to refuse to provide one dollar to ICE and CBP through the appropriations process and immediately take action to revoke the tens of billions already given through last summer’s reconciliation bill. Standing with your community means a NO vote on the FY2026 DHS Bill and a halt to all ICE and CBP funding. Our neighbors are under siege and the funding stream is the only lever that you have any real control over. If you fail to act on this we the people of your state and district will know exactly where you stand and will act accordingly next November. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
