Demand Accountability: Call for immediate Congressional hearings to force the Department of Justice to explain how greenlighting a media monopoly of this size serves the public interest. 2. Support Structural Reform: Publicly back legislation that shifts the burden of proof in major media mergers, requiring giant corporations to prove their consolidation actively benefits the public rather than simply proving it won't raise prices tomorrow. 3. Investigate Foreign Ownership: Demand strict scrutiny by the FCC regarding foreign government investment in American broadcast licenses and news media networks.
