This includes access to counsel, adequate medical care, freedom from arbitrary detention, and pathways to legal residency for those with legitimate protection claims. A just immigration system upholds our national values of human dignity, due process, and equal rights. We ask you to take a firm stance against the detention and targeting of immigrants in Indiana. Support policies and practices that respect the human rights of all people, regardless of immigration status. Build communities of welcome, not fear.
