When will you be coming to conduct an inspection of Delaney Hall Detention Center? You released a statement that it would be sometime this week but it is now Saturday and there is no report of you being there. Considering your history with Newark and that you even have an office there, it is disappointing that you haven't visited yet. I see your media press tour bringing attention to what is happening in Delaney, but your presence and using your congressional power would be more impactful for New Jersey residents, especially considering it's an election year. Please visit and conduct an inspection of the facility as soon as possible! DHS and Geo Group needs to be held accountable for mistreating the people held there and evidence and reports are necessary for any justice to take place. But that will be incredibly more difficult if you've given them time to remove all the detainees and clean up the facility.
