Shut down all detention centers

This country needs to shut down the family detention centers—what’s happening to children in them is appalling. And all detention centers should be given more oversight. We’re treating people like animals and it’s shameful. The vast majority of people being held are not criminals. They are vital members of our society. Many are here legally, and the administration is treating them like animals.
