Donald Trump has, on his first day, passed an executive order attempting to erase the existence of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people. I am calling on you to resist this in any way that you can. The rights of transgender and intersex Americans are just as important as the rights of any other Americans, and we must stand for the freedom for people to choose who they want to be in this country! Please, do everything you can to secure both legal recognition of transgender and intersex Americans, and to protect access to the life-saving gender affirming care (such as hormone replacement therapy and sexual reassignment surgery) we rely on.
