I am writing to you as a constituent but also in your capacity as member of the Natural Resources Committee. I am very concerned about the disposition of toxic soil from the LA fires. I understand that it is being hauled to the Four Corners Indian Reservation land. This seems like another in a long line of abuses of native Americans. How will this toxic soil be monitored and how will the people there be kept safe? I’m hoping we aren’t causing even more tragic outcomes from the tragedy of the LA fires.
