Trump's recent false claims that Zelenskyy initiated the conflict with Russia are directly contradicted by the factual evidence of Russia's unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Spreading such misinformation damages longstanding Republican policies supporting Ukraine and democratic allies against authoritarian aggression. Continuing to amplify these harmful lies weakens America's credibility and undermines our strategic interests. Republican voters and leaders must renounce Trump's betrayal of our nation's core principles and values, and stand firmly with Ukraine in defense of sovereignty and freedom.
