Just yesterday the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase–Escalante areas had mining protections reduced by the current President by more than 90%!! This will strip monument protections and destroy the natural beauty of the land. This was done without Congressional approval. There is literally no reason to have a congress because this administration ignores any laws it finds inconvenient and never seeks approval of the people sent to Washington DC to represent the citizens! The land opens to mining claims and leasing Sept. 11th. Seems very ironic that on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that our national lands are being attacked by greedy companies. Americans want to protect OUR natural parks, monuments, and lands. Say NO to the loss of this protection and do your jobs to stand against the greed of mining, logging, drilling companies!
