As an MS Activist and constituent, I urge you to extend health care tax credits before it is too late. For people living with MS with incomes too high to qualify for Medicaid but who struggle to afford purchasing their own coverage in the private market, these enhanced tax credits are vital. As a result of health care hikes, millions of Americans including small business owners, farmers, early retirees, and patients living with serious conditions like MS are now faced with the difficult decision to pay more or to forego their coverage entirely to meet other basic needs. Time is running out. If Congress does not extend health care tax credits, premiums will skyrocket. Can I count on you to extend the enhanced tax credits before they expire on December 31, 2025?
