New Director of Ice Must Be Fair to Immigrants

As your constituent, I would be grateful if you would let Pres Trump know that he needs to nominate someone experienced and fair-minded to head ICE. The right person needs to know the laws concerning immigration so that in all matters dealing with immigrants, due process is respected and the use of force is avoided. Too many people who have been in the US LEGALLY have been picked up and disappeared. I also think their being thrown into detention camps are a bad idea in terms of basic human rights. Please do not expect most Americans to support such unAmerican solutions. Give funds to expansion of immigration courts so that people can be treated fairly.
