President Trump signed an executive order in March that stripped the right to collectively bargain away from hundreds of thousands of federal workers. It was the single biggest act of union-busting in American history. Now the Department of Veterans Affairs has announced it’s ripping up the union contracts covering 400,000 workers who provide critical services to our veterans. There is a bipartisan bill in Congress to overturn this executive order, and it has a majority of the members of Congress—Democrats AND Republicans—as co-sponsors. It’s time to restore federal workers’ collective bargaining rights. Will you sign the discharge petition for the Protect America’s Workforce Act (H.R. 2550)?
