I’m just a regular Californian who has been paying attention, and what I’ve read in the Chronicle and seen on CNN is disqualifying. Multiple women. A former staffer. Allegations that go back years. And now your own campaign chair is gone, Pelosi is telling you to quit, Schiff pulled his endorsement — these are your people. I get that you’re denying it. But staying in this race isn’t just about you anymore. It’s about whether California ends up with a governor who can actually govern without this hanging over them. It’s about the women who came forward and deserve a real investigation, not a political circus. Just step aside. Let the investigation happen. That’s the right call.
