To the 6 justices who just gutted the voting rights act. Your partisan ideological vote shows just how far you have strayed from the spirit of the constitution and the discrimination the Voting Rights Act was intended to overcome. Your complete disregard for the intention of so many laws to correct injustices related to paternalistic, colonial and mysogenistic values of centuries past. You have set America back 200 years. You have just allowed those who assume a superiority because they are male and have white skin license for their racist views. All the discrimination against black and brown people and women thrives again thanks to so many of your decisions. Shame on you for turning the clock back to those dark times. Shame on you for allowing the dark racist underbelly of this country to rear its cruel hateful head once again. Shame on you for being a rubber stamp for a mendacious administration. Shame on you for so much damage done to the reputation of the USA as a Democratic country which used to value human rights, dignity and equality for everyone.
