PLEASE VOTE NO ON THE SAVE ACT

To: Sen. Scott, Sen. Moody

From: A verified voter in Bradenton, FL

January 23

Back in April, House Republicans passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require voters to provide documentary proof of citizenship in order to register to vote. It would also eliminate registering to vote by mail or online. The SAVE Act would hurt millions of married women who changed their last names. Voters who live in remote or rural areas. Elderly individuals who have difficulty voting in person. First-time voters who are navigating a new system. So, let me be clear: The SAVE Act is anti-democratic, and it is a direct attack on the American people’s electoral voice. PLEASE VOTE NO ON THIS ABHORRENT ATTACK ON OUR VOTING RIGHTS!
