I'm increasingly concerned about the current administration's actions. I stand firmly against the deportation of legal residents without due process, the defiance of courts, efforts to repress free expression by creating an undercurrent of threat and fear, the chainsaw approach to government reform and the misuse of government databases to track and pressure legal residents and potentially even American citizens. The President plays with tariffs like marbles, changing his mind between breakfast and the first tee, as though governing were a boy's game of double-dog-dare. and being President was like being king of the hill on your birthday. My concerns also include threats to social security, the betrayal of allies, the unsettling admiration of dictators, marketing on the White House lawn, breach of the Hatch Act, the misuse of Signal, and insider trading in advance of market reactions to deliberate actions from the executive bran That's not everything, but it's what's come to my mind this morning as I consider the possibility that President Trump's actions and the inaction of Congress may very possibly destroy the Democratic Republic I love. Please, step up and speak up. Weild the power that you have, given to you by the founders of this country and guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. Uphold your oath of office, and remember that you are in the service of the people of the United States. Thank you.
