There are 3 ICE-related bills that you will be voting on soon, and I am writing to let you know how important it is to all of us in Washington state that you vote to pass them. HB 2644 would require all ICE agents to wear body cameras. HB 2641 would ban ICE agents from future law enforcement jobs in WA. And HB 2597 would establish a legal framework for individuals to seek remedies for violations of their federal constitutional rights. These bills will prevent situations that are hazardous to our safety and freedom as citizens of this state, and of this country. Please vote for these measures, and do what you can to help them pass.
