Please oppose the decimation of the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. The latest word is that the Goddard Visitor Center will be closed. The visitor center is an incredible resource that hosted 33k visitors just last year, offered 274 free STEM programs, and is a critical link between NASA’s work and the public. Tearing it down - and tearing down Goddard in general - would be stealing from our community, our state, and taxpayers across the country who have already invested in this public good. These institutions belong to the people, not to a handful of greedy, uneducated oligarchs who don’t even know NASA’s mission. Please do everything in your power to oppose closures or further forced staff departures.
