War Powers and Venezuela

To: Rep. Foushee

From: A constituent in Durham, NC

January 3

I am writing to urge you to take action to stop the illegal and unconstitutional war being waged against Venezuela as I am writing this text. Congress must stop this abuse of Presidential powers. Congress declares war, not the President. There is no emergency justifying the President ordering military action against Venezuela. You must act with your colleagues in the House of Representatives to stop this madness.
