I oppose keeping Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries in leadership in 2027. We have an opportunity to bring fresh, independent-minded leadership to Congress—leaders who are not beholden to corporate special interests or PAC money. I would support Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Speaker of the House and Cory Booker for Senate Majority Leader. I would also welcome consideration of an independent voice like Bernie Sanders for Senate leadership. Why should party affiliation matter more than integrity, accountability, and a commitment to the American people? This is an opportunity for meaningful change, and I believe that change must begin with leadership.
