I am writing to ask you to take a stronger stance on sanctioning Israel and cutting off arms supply. While the recently sent letter is a step in the right direction, it is far too little, far too late. Threatening to cut off 'some' US military assistance is insufficient, and requiring Israel only to stop blocking humanitarian aid rather than to stop the attacks entirely is similarly pitiful. US taxpayers have been funding the slaughter of Palestinians for far too long, in spite of a lack of support among the population. The US should take a firm stance against this genocide - first, by calling it what it is, a genocide. Please advocate to stop funding Israeli aggression as though the past year has been at all reasonable as a response to Hamas.
