Trump’s DOJ sending the State of California a thumb drive with a password written on a note, asking them to plug it into their computer system is truly absurd. Absurd from a cyber security perspective alone. DOJ claims there are the names of 200k illegal voter’s that received ballots. Trump has done this in other States only to find every name on the list was a registered legal voter. First and foremost, there is no legal right for the DOJ to even develop such a list. California certainly does not have to answer to the DOJ regarding their voter roles. It is called States rights. Finally, sending this 19 days before the midterm elections and threatening to block the counting of all votes is clearly illegal. Any first year law student knows this and if reveals what the Trump DOJ has become. A group of hacks loyal only to Trump. Willing to interfere with our election process to hold onto power. Certainly not the peoples DOJ. California has every right to tell the DOJ to shove that list up their ass.
