I’m reaching out from Tualatin to express concern about H.Res. 719, Honoring the life and legacy of Charles “Charlie” James Kirk, which does not simply condemn Kirk’s assassination (like its Senate counterpart) but includes divisive praise that acts as an affront to communities he spoke against. I join a coalition of civil rights organizations in commending the Congressional Black Caucus “for its leadership in rebuking the misuse of congressional power to advance further disunity and dishonest revisionism.” Thank you for your continued good work!
