Oppose Trump's Threats to Bomb Iranian Civilian Infrastructure

Vote to block President Trump's threatened bombing of Iranian civilian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges. His ultimatum to "decimate" Iran's civilian targets by Tuesday night violates international law and will escalate this war, not end it.
Bombing power plants and bridges kills civilians. These are war crimes, no matter how Trump frames them. Six weeks into this conflict, Americans already oppose the war, and even Republican support for Trump has dropped from 52% to 43% since January. Gas prices hit $4 per gallon because Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, and Trump admits high prices may last into summer. More bombing won't reopen the strait. It will harden Iran's position and cost more American lives.
Trump has moved the goal posts repeatedly on what this war is supposed to achieve. He said it would last six weeks, then said he doesn't know when it will end. He's threatened nuclear stockpile removal, then backed off. A 45-day ceasefire proposal is on the table. Congress must demand Trump pursue that diplomatic path instead of launching attacks that will kill innocent people and trap us in a longer, deadlier war. Use your authority to stop this escalation now.
