ICE is out of control. Trump and his administration is out of control. It is your constitutional duty and moral obligation to step up and exercise the power of The Congress of which you were elected to do for all of your constituents. Not only should there be no additional funding for ICE, but their funding needs to be pulled and shifted to other areas that need that funding (Medicaid, Medicare, Affordable Care Act, etc). While criminal immigrants may have committed some crimes in the US, it is no where near the extent of crimes that ICE is now committing against lawful American Citizens (murder, unlawful detainment, requesting “papers” [geez Americans don’t even carry papers!], breaking into homes with fake warrants). It is unconscionable for you to sit by spewing generic talking points and doing nothing to reel in ICE and Trump. I honestly do not understand how you can look in the mirror each day knowing you have done nothing to reign in this terrorizing regime of The Republican Party and demented Trump who is clearly mentally sick.
