Mike Lee is not fit to represent the state of Utah. He has repeatedly shown that he puts his own interests above those of Utahns and Americans and his recent tweets were the final straw proving his lack of compassion for anyone but himself. To make light of such an atrocious act of violence is the basest kind of political maneuvering. Your silence on the matter speaks volumes. Mike Lee should be removed from office, and as a Utahn your voice should be the loudest in calling for this. If you remain silent, it says to me and to your constituents that you approve of Mike Lee’s actions. If you can’t find it within yourself to speak out purely on the basis of morality, you should remember that we will remember this when it comes time to vote.
