The death penalty is immoral. Public executions are barbaric and repugnant. This puts the us in the good company of Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea and Saudi Arabia. You worry about what books children might see in a library! Don’t you worry about them watching their own government execute a human being? Or are you trying to instill fear of their government in them while they are young. What will be next? Public stoning women who miscarry? In the future, people will see this in the same light we look at photos of crowds of people watching a lynching in their Sunday Best! Who have we become!?!?!?
